Jakob Biehler
Germany
Jakob Biehler grew up surrounded by creativity, playing with clay in his father’s pottery workshop and enjoying the paintings of his grandfather, who was a painter. He developed an interest in guitar-making after learning to play the guitar from Stefan Schottmüller. In 2011, he began making guitars. Jakob studied mechanical engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), then pursued instrument-making at Klingenthal vocational school. He later studied at the University of Musical Instrument Making (Markneukirchen), where he deepened his knowledge of acoustics, measurements, materials technology, guitar design, history, and music history.
