Knobloch String

Spain

Knobloch Strings, founded in 1971 by German guitarist and luthier Jiri Knobloch, is a prestigious brand specializing in high-quality classical guitar strings for professional musicians. Known for their warm and bright tone, Knobloch strings are designed to meet the specific needs of advanced guitarists, offering a variety of tonal qualities, directness for a wide dynamic range, and ease of playability.

In 2009, the brand was revived by Spanish guitarist Gilles Baudu, and the strings are now manufactured in Spain and distributed worldwide. Knobloch strings are chosen by world-renowned maestros such as Roberto Aussel, Ricardo Gallén, Leo Brouwer, as well as prominent Korean guitarists like Jinsae Kim and Han Eun. Notably, the master luthier Dominique Field also uses Knobloch strings on his instruments.
