Davide Serracini (1978 - Current)
Italy
Born in Rome, studied at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria di Milano, where he learned modern instrument making techniques (such as for mandolins, guitars, and harps) as well as the research and methodology of restoring classical instruments under the guidance of Lorenzo Lippi, Tiziano Rizzi and Aldo lllotta. After graduation, he opened his own workshop and has dedicated himself to crafting classical guitars, mandolins, and steel-string acoustic guitars. His instruments, inspired by the works of Torres, Hauser, and Romanillos, are characterized by a simple yet elegant appearance and a round, comfortable sound. The high notes are expressed with depth and richness, and each note rings clearly with excellent balance. The added directness of the sound creates a rich, resonant tone.
